From the second I was born art has run through my body, my blood is a stream of paint. Born of an an extraordinary painter, and a graphic designer during a warm Grand Rapids summer, I began drawing in sketch books at age four and I haven't stopped. During High School I rediscovered art as a form of release and escape from the stresses that come with being a teenager. I started by dipping a toe in the water, and during my first art class I realized that my art had an effect on people, I could make them laugh I could make them cry, and most important, I could make them feel the things I was to afraid to express aloud. The next year, I took a drawing class just waning the chance to once again experience the release I found by pressing pencil to paper, it was there that for the first time, I was told I had talent. From that second on, I drew fervently , filling sketch book upon sketch book, finding therapy through graphite, laying out my life onto the pages.
